How to Get Boss Guys in Minecraft for PC

Apart from the standard enemies that attack your player in the game "Minecraft" there are also more powerful monsters called bosses. The bosses are much more powerful than normal enemies and require the use of special items before you can get to them. As of July 2013 there are only two bosses in the game, the "Ender Dragon" and "Wither." To get to the dragon, you need to travel through an ender portal and to fight the Wither, you have to summon it first.

Instructions

  1. Ender Dragon

    • 1

Explore the Overworld (starting dimension) areas of "Minecraft" at night until you encounter the "Enderman" enemies. These are tall, black enemies with thin bodies and purple eyes.

    • 2

Provoke the Endermen into a fight by placing your targeting crosshair directly over them. These enemies are neutral until you look at them.

    • 3

Kill at least fifteen of the Endermen and collect the Ender pearl item that they drop upon death. The Ender pearl is a vital crafting item needed to find and open the Ender portal.

    • 4

Build a Nether portal using obsidian blocks so that your character can travel to the Nether dimension. A portal consists of an Obsidian frame that is five blocks in height and four blocks in width.

    • 5

Ignite the inside of the Obsidian frame using a steel charge or flint and steel, then travel through the portal to reach the Nether dimension.

    • 6

Kill 15 of the Blaze enemies that are found in the Nether dimension and collect the blaze rods that they drop. These enemies are yellow in appearance with smoke billowing from their bodies.

    • 7

Right-click your crafting table to access the crafting screen and then place the blaze rods in the "Crafting" section. Click the blaze powder that is created and place it in your inventory.

    • 8

Combine the blaze powder and ender pearl on the crafting table to create the eye of ender item. Craft at least 15 of these eyes and place them in your inventory.

    • 9

Select the eye of ender from your inventory and then right-click to throw it in the air. Follow it as it floats in the direction of the nearest ender portal. Once the eye drops to the ground, pick it up and repeat the process

    • 10

Tunnel straight down once the eye hovers above a spot without moving when thrown. This indicates that there is an ender portal directly below it.

    • 11

Select the eye of ender from your inventory and right-click each of the stones that make up the portal frame to place an eye. You need a total of 12 to complete the portal. Once the final eye is placed, the portal activates.

    • 12

Enter the portal to reach the Ender dragon boss. The only way to return to the Overworld is by dying or killing the Ender dragon.

    Wither

    • 13

Travel to the Nether using a portal and collect four soul sand blocks. These brown blocks look similar to dirt blocks and are found near lava.

    • 14

Kill three wither skeletons, also found in the Nether and collect their heads.

    • 15

Place two soul sand blocks on top of each other and then place the other two soul sand blocks on either side of the top block to form a "T" shaped structure.

    • 16

Place the three wither skeleton skulls on top of the upper soul sand blocks in order to summon the Wither. For this to work, the final item you place must be one of the skulls.
