How to Make a Shop on Roblox

Open the Roblox game on your computer. Click on "Games" on the menu at the top of the page. Type "build shop" in the search engine box at the top right of the page to find a list of servers. Click on the icon for the shop building server of your choice, which will say something like "Build Your Own Shop." Click on the large "Play" button. In the play area, select the "Hand" icon from the list of icons at the bottom of the screen. Move your character with the arrow keys to walk to building materials.

Highlight a block by holding the hand cursor over it. To resize the block, select the resize icon, which has a double-sided arrow. The object will now have dots on all four sides. Move the dots to change size and dimensions to make your floor. Select a block for your wall and resize it to what you want. Copy it by selecting the copy tool, which looks like a wand, and clicking on the block. Put up walls around your building, resizing some to leave room for a door.

Go back to the building materials and find a transparent rectangular object. Drag it to your building, place it in the door spot and resize it. You will be able to walk through it. Make a roof by copying the floor and placing it on top of the structure. Go back to the building materials and select a block. Copy the block and leave it outside your building so you don't have to go back to the building materials as often.

Copy and resize blocks as needed to build shelves, counters, tables, chairs and interior walls for closets or storerooms. If you get too many of an object, select the delete tool, which looks like a hammer, and click on the object. To change the color of objects, select the paintbrush icon, click on the paint square in the box that opens, select the color and drag the paint bucket over and click on the object.

Go back to the building materials and select a sign for your shop. Drag it to your building and make a copy of it. Make a free-standing sign by copying blocks to make a pole and placing the sign on top. Place the remaining sign on the front of your building and resize it. Return to the building materials and select items for your shop from random objects you find.
