Instructions
Open your Web browser and navigate to Purple Haze to download the PES Editor using the link provided in the Resources section of this article.
Click "Downloads" and then click on "PES_Editor_2009-2.zip" to download the editor. Save the ZIP archive to your desktop.
Right-click on the "PES_Editor_2009-2.zip" file and select "Extract Here" to extract the archive to your desktop.
Double-click the "start.bat" file to start the PES5 editor. You will be prompted to select an options file.
Select an option file in your PES5 main folder using the built-in file browser. Click "Open."
Click the "Transfer" tab to start editing your teams.
Select a team from the drop-down box in the left pane and another team from the drop-down box in the right pane. Each team's players are displayed in the panes.
Drag a player from one team to the other to transfer him. You can also change a selected player's shirt number in the Player Number box.
Double-click one of the players to change his stats. Modify the values such as Attack, Defense and Agility in the Edit Player window that opens.
Click the "Team" tab at the top of the window to start editing the teams and their stadiums.
Select a team from the list of teams. The team's properties are displayed in the right pane.
Edit the name of the team in the Team Name text box. Select a different flag using the ̶0;Up Arrow̶1; and ̶0;Down Arrow̶1; buttons. Select a home stadium from the Stadium drop-down box.
Click the "Stadiums" tab at the top of the PES5 editor window to change the name of existing stadiums.
Select a stadium from the list of stadiums and edit its name in the text box at the right.
Click the "League" tab at the top of the window to change the name of existing leagues.
Select a league from the list of leagues and edit its name in the text box on the right.
Click the "PES/Shop" tab at the top of the window to give yourself more PES points and unlock shop points.
Type the amount of PES points you want to award yourself in the text box.
Click the "Unlock" button to unlock all shop items.
Expand the "File" menu and click "Save" to save the edited options file, overwriting the old file.
