How to Group Objects on Roblox

Roblox is an online learning game that lets players create an avatar, or online game persona, and then allows them to build whatever they want out of virtual blocks. Kids can play alone or in online groups, and there is no predefined game goal. According to the Roblox website, the game is aimed at children ages 8 to 18 and is inspired by the "Constructionism" educational theory, which teaches that children learn best when they can design and build. The game is free in its basic form, but users who wish to advance to higher levels are charged a monthly, semiannual or annual subscription fee. Grouping objects is an important, but simple, building task within Roblox.

Instructions

  Enter the Roblox studio. Locate the file button row -- just under the menu bar. There are two buttons on it that look like two tiny squares, one over the other. The first is the group button, and the second is the ungroup button.

  Click on each of the objects you want to group. While they are highlighted, select the "Group" button on the file button row to group them together. Now they are grouped and can be moved as a single unit. You can also group objects by selecting them and pressing "Control" + "G" on your keyboard.

  Separate grouped items by selecting the group and pressing the "Ungroup" button, which is right next to the "Group" button on the file button row. You can also press "Control" + "U" to ungroup objects.
