How to Make Cool Characters in Unreal Tournament 3

When playing any online game, first impressions are formed based on your character's looks. "Unreal Tournament 3" lets you play with a number of pre-designed characters, but if none of these characters have the "cool factor" you are looking for, the PC version of the game also lets you create a custom character through the "Character Customization" menu. This menu lets you customize everything from the character's base model to its gear, allowing you to create a character that fits your exact specifications.

Instructions

  Launch the "Unreal Tournament 3" game and click "Settings" option on the game's main menu, followed by "Player."

  Click the "Customize Character" option and select your character's race. Select your specific character on the following screen to begin the customization.

  Highlight the "Facemask" option and use the left and right arrows to scroll through the face masks. Once you have found a face mask you like, press the down arrow to highlight the "Helmet" option.

  Use the left and right arrows to scroll through the helmets. Once you have found a helmet you like, press the down arrow to highlight the "Goggles" option.

  Use the left and right arrows to scroll through the goggles. Once you have found a pair of goggles you like, press the down arrow to highlight the "Torso" option.

  Use the left and right arrows to scroll through the torsos. Once you have found a torso you like, press the down arrow to highlight the "Shoulder Pads" option.

  Use the left and right arrows to scroll through the shoulder pads. Once you have found a shoulder pad set you like, press the down arrow to highlight the "Arms" option.

  Use the left and right arrows to scroll through the arms. Once you have found an arm set you like, press the down arrow to highlight the "Thighs" option.

  Use the left and right arrows to scroll through the thighs. Once you have found a thigh set you like, press the down arrow to highlight the "Boots" option.

  Use the left and right arrows to scroll through the boots. Once you have found a pair of boots you like, press the "Enter" key to save the character.
