Problems With Alawar Gold Sprinter

"Gold Sprinter," available through the Alawar game website, is reminiscent of the classic game "Lode Runner" -- players must avoid enemies and collect gold to complete the level. If you are having problems with "Gold Sprinter," ranging from problems registering the game to problems completing a level, there are a few solutions you can try.

Removing the Time Limit
- When you first download and play "Gold Sprinter" from Alawar's website, you may notice the game has a time limit; once the limit has been reached, you are unable to play the game. To remove this time limit, you must purchase the game. This can be done from the main menu; select "Remove the Time Limit" and enter your payment details. A key is sent to you upon completion of the payment details. Entering this activation key into the main menu of the game removes the time limit.
Lost Gold Sprinter Key
- If the key you receive doesn't work, or you have lost the game key, you can request a new one from Alawar technical support on its website. In the support form, fill out your contact information along with the name of the game, the method of payment used and the date of purchase. Alawar will contact you within a few business days with information on how to obtain a new activation key.
Gold Sprinter Won't Start
- If "Gold Sprinter" does not start, there are a few things you can do to fix it. Verify that your computer's video and audio drivers are up to date and that you are using the latest version of DirectX. Verify that your Adobe Flash Player is upgraded to the latest version. Close all other applications, such as any Internet browsers or anti-virus software, before starting the game. If you are still having difficulty getting "Gold Sprinter" to start, contact Alawar technical support.
Gold Sprinter System Requirements
- Verify that your computer meets the minimum system requirements of "Gold Sprinter." The game does not require the latest hardware; the only requirement is that your CPU is a Pentium 300 MX, a CPU released in the late 1990s. However, if you are attempting to run "Gold Sprinter" on a computer released before then, this may be the reason why the game is not functioning; upgrade your computer or play on a different computer if possible.
