Mask of the Betrayer Influence Cheat for V1.22

"Mask of the Betrayer," the first expansion for the "Neverwinter Nights 2" role-playing game, adds new classes, new playable races and a new campaign to the game, with several new companions who will join your party during the course of your adventure. Although the influence cheat for the original campaign doesn't work in "Mask of the Betrayer," there are two new cheats that do.
  1. Setting Influence Directly

    • To change your influence with a companion to a specific value, type the following command into the cheat console:

      rs ka_influence_set(name,value)

Replace "name" with the shortened version of the name of the companion with whom you want to change your influence. Use "safiya" for Safiya, "gann" for Gann, "dove" for Kaelyn the Dove, "okku" for Okku and "oneofmany" for One of Many.

Replace "value" with your desired influence value. Acceptable values fall between -75 and 100.

When you input this command, the game will not alert you with a message. Check the character screen for that specific companion to ensure the influence change was applied correctly.

    Changing Influence by Magnitude

    • To change your influence with a companion by a specific order of magnitude, type the following command into the cheat console:

      rs ka_influence_magnitude(name,value)

Replace "name" with the shortened version of the name of the companion with whom you want to change your influence. Use "safiya" for Safiya, "gann" for Gann, "dove" for Kaelyn the Dove, "okku" for Okku and "oneofmany" for One of Many. Replace "value" with your desired magnitude of influence change. Acceptable values fall between -5 and 5. A value of 1 increases your influence by 6, a value of 2 increases your influence by 11, a value of 3 increases your influence by 15, a value of 4 increases your influence by 25 and a value of 5 increases your influence by 35. Negative values work identically, but result in an influence loss rather than in a gain. This command mimics the influence changes that result from conversation choices you make during the game. Because of this, the game will alert you with a message every time you change your influence with a companion using it.

    Entering Cheat Commands

    • Press the "~" key to open the cheat console. If you are using a keyboard different from the standard USA keyboard, press the key directly to the left of the "1" key to open the cheat console. Type the following command into the console:

      DebugMode 1

Doing this activates debug mode, allowing you to enter cheat commands through the console. Once you're done, press the "~" key again to hide the console and resume playing.

    Considerations

    • Which of the two cheat commands you use to change your influence on your companion depends on what your aim is. If you simply want to ensure all your companions are fully loyal to you, setting your influence with each of them to 100 will do that quickly and efficiently. If you want to reverse an influence loss or gain with a specific companion caused by choices you made during a conversation without reloading a previous save, changing your influence with that companion by the same order of magnitude will be faster.
