Potential Prizes
There are many possible prizes players can win through the fortune cookie mini game. While most of these prizes are articles of clothing, accessories or cars, which increase glam and popularity, at high levels players can win other plot-related prizes, which are necessary to complete quests. Some examples include support from a chapter house, past president's endorsement and mailing to alumnae.
Refreshing For The Best Prize
Modify your connection speed so that Facebook pages load slowly. You can accomplish this by beginning a large download or streaming content from YouTube, Hulu or other movie websites before clicking the fortune cookie. Click any one of the fortune cookies, and quickly move your cursor over your web browser's "cancel loading" button which, in most cases, will look like a red X. Wait until the new page loads just enough that the text appears to tell you what prize you've won, but the image to display it has not. If it is an undesirable prize, quickly tap your browser's "stop loading" button and return to the previous page. It should display the fortune cookies once again, as if you had never attempted to make a selection. Select a different fortune cookie. Repeat this process until you have the best prize of the three.
Secondary Accounts
Many players create secondary Facebook accounts to join their own Sorority Life sororities and gain the benefits associated with additional members. This also allows players to gain access to the fortune cookie mini-game on multiple accounts. If additional prizes are won on these secondary accounts, they can be gifted to the player's main account.
Controversy
Some players of the Sorority Life game claim that the prizes for the game are predetermined, or otherwise rigged by the game's coders. There is even a Facebook group populated by these users, called "The Sorority Life Fortune Cookie Conspiracy".
