Click the sound icon on your Windows task bar, and then click ̶0;Mixer.̶1; Check that the ̶0;Counter Strike̶1; volume is not muted or turned down.
Right-click the sound icon and click ̶0;Playback Devices.̶1; Put a green checkmark next to the speakers or headphones you use to hear ̶0;Counter Strike̶1; sounds. If you're using these regularly, right-click the proper devices and select ̶0;Set as Default Device.̶1;
See that the cords to your headphones or speakers are properly connected to the sound card output jack on your computer̵7;s tower. This jack is usually bright green in color.
Launch the ̶0;Counter Strike̶1; game, open the ̶0;Options̶1; menu and choose ̶0;Audio.̶1; Unmute the ̶0;MP3 Volume̶1; and voice settings.
Download and update new drivers for your sound card from the sound card manufacturer̵7;s website.
