How to Delete a Dalmatian on the 101 Dalmatians Game

DreamForge Entertainment released "101 Dalmatians: Escape from De Vil Manor" in 1997 to follow the release of Disney's 1996 live action film "101 Dalmatians." The game's animation style, though, owes more to Disney's earlier 1961 animated "101 Dalmatians" film. The game allows you to play as Spot, Patch, Rolly and other dogs who receive names in the film. It also allows you to create your own puppies and name them, replacing the default puppies in the game. You can only create up to 99 puppies, and if you reach the limit you will have to delete a dog before you make a new one.

Instructions

    • 1

Open the "Options" menu and disable "Puppy Vision." This will allow you to interact with the game's environment outside the perspective of the characters.

    • 2

Enter De Vil Manor, the large mansion you see as soon as the game world loads. Scattered inside this location you will find most of the existing 99 puppies; others are in a nearby shed, and the last two are hiding under Cruella De Vil's car.

    • 3

Choose the hand-shaped "Select" tool from the "Tools" menu on the left of the screen.

    • 4

Use the arrow keys to navigate through De Vil Manor until you find a puppy you want to delete.

    • 5

Left-click the puppy that you want to delete and press the "Delete" button on your keyboard. Press "Yes" on the menu that pops up to confirm your decision to delete the puppy.
