How to Make Your Own Headline Game in Sims

Prior to the release of "The Sims 3: Late Night" in 2010, Electronic Arts released the "Make Headlines as a Sim!" game to promote it. By using this application, you can make your own headlines in the style that they would appear on a "Sims" newspaper. You can upload any picture and choose from a list of predetermined headlines, after which you can publish the image on Facebook or Twitter, send the message through email or download and print the image. You can make as many headlines as you wish upon accessing the page.

Instructions

    • 1

Navigate to thesimslatenightnews.com in your Internet browser.

    • 2

Click the "Click to Continue" button in the middle of the page.

    • 3

Click a headline from the seven choices, and enter a name in the Enter Sims Name field. This name doesn't have to be the name of a Sim; it can be any name you want. Click "Continue" when finished.

    • 4

Click either "Webcam" or "Upload Image" to add a picture to your headline. The Webcam option allows you to take a picture with your webcam, while clicking "Upload Image" allows you to upload an image from your computer's hard drive. Click "Continue" when finished.

    • 5

Drag the "Zoom" and "Rotate" sliders to adjust your image, and click "Continue."

    • 6

Click "I Agree," followed by your birth date.

    • 7

Click "Publish." Your headline is displayed on the screen.

    • 8

Click the media option at the top of the image to send that picture to the appropriate location. For example, clicking "Facebook" allows you to upload the image to your Facebook page, while clicking "Email" allows you to send the image as an email attachment.

    • 9

Click "Make a New Headline" to start the process again.
