How to Fix a Serious Error on Silkroad Multi Client

You might sometimes receive an error message stating that a serious error has occurred when trying to launch multiple instances of the Silkroad Online client. Silkroad Online is a South Korean online video game. Independent programmers have developed a set of tools, named SRO-Tools, that allow players to launch several instances of Silkroad at the same time. If you receive a message warning you about a serious error when using SRO-Tools, you can fix the problem by downloading the latest version of the .NET Framework for Windows and reinstalling SRO-Tools.

  Download the .NET Framework installation package from Microsoft Corporation's website.

  Install .NET Framework on your computer by double-clicking on the downloaded file, selecting "Run" and following the on-screen instructions.

  Download the latest version of SRO-Tools. Save the ZIP file on your hard drive.

  Open Windows Explorer by clicking on "Start" and selecting "Computer." Locate the folder containing the ZIP file you downloaded.

  Right-click on the file and select "Extract." Open the new folder containing the extracted file and double-click on the "FindFile.exe" application. Select the folder containing your Silkroad installation and click on "OK." Click on the checkbox next to "Multi-Client" and press the "Start" button.
