How to Make a Guest Talk on Roblox

"Roblox" is an massively multiplayer online game developed by The Roblox Corporation. The game features a large focus on user-generated content, such as character models, textures, scripts and levels. Guests without a "Roblox" account can play the game, but they are not allowed to chat with other players. By implementing a special script into your level, it is possible for guests to join in on conversations. The script must be downloaded from the catalog and activated from within the Toolbox section of the Roblox Studio application.

Instructions

  Access the "Guest Talk Script" page on the Roblox Catalog website (See Resource). Click the "Take One!" button to add the script to your inventory.

  Launch the Roblox Studio application.

  Click the "My Roblox" button and select "Places." Click the "Open In Build Mode" button located underneath the My Places menu.

  Click "View" on the main Roblox tool bar and select the "Toolbox" option.

  Click the Toolbox drop-down menu and select "My Models."

  Click on the "Guest Talk Script" entry to add the script code to your workspace. Click "File" on the main tool bar and select "Save." Guests will now be able to chat when visiting your Place.
