How to Do the Level Editor in Alpha Centauri

If you're playing "Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri" and struggling, you can access the map editor to make things a little easier on yourself. Once you've entered the map editor, you can change various things, including both small things like the year, to larger, more helpful things like the technologies you've discovered and the units that you have in your possession. Note that using the level editor will make the game substantially easier.

     Press "CTRL" and "K" simultaneously during gameplay. This opens the map editor.

     Press "SHIFT" and "F5" simultaneously to change the year.

   • 3

     Press "Y" to reveal the full map.

   • 4

     Press "SHIFT" and "F1" to create a new unit.

   • 5

     Press "SHIFT" and "F2" to discover a new technology.

   • 6

     Press "SHIFT" and "F4" to edit your energy credits.
