How to Use Phase Shift in Sacred

In the RPG "Sacred," Phase Shift is a magical ability available only to Battle Mages. The Phase Shift ability teleports your mage to a nearby destination of your choosing. Phase Shift can be cast in combat, and your mage will be temporarily invulnerable for a few seconds after shifting. This makes Phase Shift an excellent way to escape from dangerous enemies or to put some distance between yourself and an attacker. Phase Shift can also be used to get around certain physical barriers or obstacles.

Instructions

  Socket a Phase Shift rune into any piece of your equipment. This will give you the ability to use the spell.

  Activate the spell within your user interface. Use your cursor to click anywhere on the ground within your line of sight. For example, you cannot teleport around a corner or behind a wall. You can only teleport to places that your character can see.

  Wait a few seconds for the spell to be cast. Your character will then disappear in a flurry of magical lights, only to reappear on the spot that you clicked on earlier.
