How to Make Dragonhide Armor in Runescape

The massively multiplayer online role-playing game genre is best defined by blockbusters such as "World of Warcraft," but since 2001, the browser-based "Runescape" has maintained an active and healthy player base. Among the many challenges and features of the game is the "Crafting" system, which allows enterprising players to create armor and other objects for their own personal use or for sale to other players for profit. At high levels, the "Ranger" class enjoys the protection of the powerful "Dragonhide" armor set. You can craft "Dragonhide" armor for your Ranger's benefit or for a steady source of income.

Instructions

  Obtain a needle and thread from a craft shop in major cities such as Al-Kharid, Rimmington or Varrock.

  Visit a tanner in a major city to convert some basic cowhide into leather. You can gather basic hides from monsters or simply buy the hides from other players.

  Craft lower-level armor using the leather until you reach at least Crafting level 57, the minimum level required for Green Dragonhide Vambraces. Other Dragonhide recipes require more Crafting levels.

  Slay dragons with a color matching the armor type you wish to create. Slain dragons drop appropriately colored dragonhide; for example, red dragons drop red dragonhide. Alternatively, you can purchase your dragonhide from players who hunt dragons and sell the rewards.

  Return to a tanner with your bounty. The tanner will charge 20 coins to convert each dragonhide to dragon leather.
- 6
  Create the "Dragonhide" armor you want. There are a total of twelve "Dragonhide" armor recipes available between levels 57 and 84. At 84, you will have access to the Black Dragonhide Body, the highest-level "Dragonhide" armor in the game.
