How to Get the Archer Job Hat in MapleStory

In "MapleStory," you can dress your character in hats, capes, gloves, bottoms, tops, shields and shoes. These clothes and items will boost your stats for as long as your character wears them. You can get hats for your character by purchasing them, killing monsters or completing quests. Once your Archer reaches Level 18, you can perform a task for your instructor to obtain an Archer Job Hat. This hat will increase your Weapon Defense stat.

Instructions

  Start a new character and train her to Level 18. You can get to Level 18 by defeating monsters and bosses or by performing quests. To get the Archer Job Hat, your Archer character must be between Level 18 and Level 40.

  Go to Victoria Island. Take the taxi to Athena Pierce, located in Henesys. Speak to your Job Instructor. If your Archer is at least at Level 18, the Job Instructor will give you a quest to defeat a monster. The reward for completing the quest is the Archer Job Hat and experience points.

  Agree to complete the quest. Press the "Q" button to go to the Quest menu. Look at the description of the quest that you accepted. The description will specify what monster you need to kill, where you need to go and the reward you will receive for the quest.

  Head to the location of the monster. Attempt to kill the monster, and if you cannot, train your character until you can. After you kill it, speak to your Job Instructor, and she will reward you with the Archer Job Hat along with experience points.
