What Are the Different Bows in MapleStory?

"MapleStory" is a role-playing game played via the Internet with other players around the world. MapleStory allows you to choose a class, create and customize a character and offers a selection of weapons for your character to use when fighting monsters and other foes. Classes such as bowmen, archers, hunters and rangers prefer bows to other weapons. Bows can be found in shops, left by slain monsters and purchased from other players. "MapleStory" offers a wide selection of bows to fit your character level, if you are strong and dexterous enough to use them.

Level 10 to 35
- There are eight bows you can obtain at low level while you play "MapleStory." The War Bow requires a level 10 character and has no strength or dexterity requirements. This bow can deliver 25 damage to a target. The Maple Bow also carries no strength or dexterity requirements, and is available at level 35. Other bows that can be obtained between level 10 and 35 are the Akha and the Composite Bow, which deal 30 damage per hit. The Hunter's Bow inflicts approximately 35 damage per hit; the Battle Bow can unleash about 40 damage per shot; the Ryden delivers 45 damage; and the Red Viper administers 50 damage points. These bows require a minimum of 10 strength and 40 dexterity to use.
Levels 40 to 65
- The Maple Soul Searcher, level 43, the Maple Kandiva Bow, level 64 and the Bow of Magical Destruction at level 65 can be found during intermediate levels. They have no strength or dexterity requirements. The Maple Soul Searcher inflicts 65 damage points per hit, and the other two apply an average of 78. The other bows in this intermediate level are the Vaulter 2000, Akhasuma, Olympus, Cao Cao Bow, Winkel and Asianic Bow. These bows range between 55 to 70 damage points per hit, and require at least 40 in strength and 125 points in dexterity.
Levels 70 to 90
- Advanced levels require a more powerful bow. Each of the bows in this level require a minimum of 75 strength and a 205 dexterity. Level 70 bows are the Red Hinkel, Blue Hinkel, Gold Hinkel and Andromeda Bow, all of which deal about 80 damage points each. Level 80 bows include the Marine Arund, Dark Arund, Fire Arund, Gold Arund and AkhaMagna. The bows require a minimum of 85 in strength and 240 dexterity points, and deal between 85 and 90 damage points. There are three level 90 bows: Black Metus, Blue Metus and Metus. These require 95 strength, 245 dexterity and deliver approximately 90 damage points each.
Levels 100 to 120
- Expert bowmen and archers require the finest bows available. The Dark Nisrock, Golden Nisrock, White Nisrock and Crimson Arclancer require at least level 100, 105 strength, 255 dexterity and deal 95 damage points per hit. The Dragon Shinebow is a level 110 bow, requires 115 strength and 285 dexterity and deals 100 damage. The most deadly bow available in the game is the Timeless Engaw, which calls for level 120, 125 strength, 305 dexterity and applies 107 damage points.
