How to Get Past the Underground Gate and Bugs on Astro-Knight in Poptropica

"Poptropica" is a combination of a social networking site and multiplayer action-adventure game, targeted toward young children ages six to 13. The gameplay mostly consists of controlling your customizable avatar through various adventures, released periodically as "islands." One of these islands is "Astro-Knight Island," in which you must build a spaceship to travel the galaxy to find a kidnapped princess.

Instructions

  Go to the Castle Library, over to the stack by the "Non-Fiction" sign. Click the book by the nameplate that says "McM" and the secret passageway will open. Go down to the underground dungeon and head to the screen on the right.

  Click the wooden lever on the wall to open the gate in the secret passage. Go through this gate to speak to the robot who will give you a message in binary, which translates to "bard." Use this password for the secret order, which will eventually lead you to your rocket and take you to different planets.

  Double-click in quick bursts to shoot short laser blasts, which shoot down bugs when traveling between planets. When shooting down bugs, make sure to dodge the lightning clouds and missiles to avoid being shot down.
