How to Install Patch 1.3.5522 for Baldur's Gate

The 1.3.5522 patch is the latest available patch for "Baldur's Gate: Tales of the Sword Coast." The file is no longer hosted on the developer or publisher's website, but there is another source for the file. The patch file is a standard Windows executable file. Once you have downloaded the file, install it by running the file like any other Windows program.

  Open the Web browser on your computer, and enter "sorcerers.net/Games/BG/index_misc.php." Remember to leave off the period at the end.

  Scroll down to "Baldur's Gate: Tales of the Sword Coast Patches," and click the location link on the right. There are different versions of the patch for the U.S., U.K. and international versions of the game, so pick the corresponding location for your version. The site will play a short video.

  Click the "Click here" link, and wait for the link to load. It may take a few seconds.

  Click the "BGTalesXX5512.exe" link to download the patch. Click "Save file." By default, Windows saves downloaded files in the "Documents" folder on the Start menu. Open the "Downloads" folder on the left sidebar and click the file to run it.
