"Club Penguin" is an online game published by Disney that gives kids the chance to socialize and do activities with players from around the world. The game creates a safe environment for kids by offering parents a lot of features that give them control over their child's experience. One such feature is the ability to change how a player can chat. The "Ultimate Safe Chat" option limits chatting to a few preset phrases and disables the ability to type messages with the keyboard. The other option is "Standard Safe Chat" which allows the use of the keyboard, but typed messages are moderated for words and phrases that are considered inappropriate.

Go to the "Club Penguin" homepage and click the "Membership" button at the top.

Click the "Manage Account" button near the top of the Membership page.

Log in to your "Club Penguin" account using the email and password used when you first signed up for the game.

Use the list to select the Penguin whose chat options you want to modify.

Click on the "Parent Tools" button.

In the Chat Mode window, select either "Standard Safe Chat" or "Ultimate Safe Chat," then click the "Submit" button to finalize the change.
