How to Use the StarCraft X-tra Editor

StarCraft̵7;s free map editor lets you create in-game triggers for sounds, special visual effects, and AI actions. These triggers help users make dynamic maps that mimic those found on the StarCraft campaign. The editor version that comes with your StarCraft disc limits unit placement, faction sizes, upgrade counts and other options, but an optional ̶0;X-tra Editor̶1; download unlocks these features. The ̶0;X-tra Editor̶1; patches the free editor for more advanced usage, but it isn̵7;t officially released by Blizzard, and you might not know how to operate the editor.
