Roll your mouse scroll wheel up or down to zoom in or out and hold down the right mouse button to move the screen around.
Click the "Rides" icon on the left of the screen, then select "Rollercoasters" from the pop-up menu.
Select the type of rollercoaster you want to create from the list displayed. Click the icons on the bottom of the selection screen to narrow down the coasters displayed to specific categories like steel, wooden, suspended or water. Once your selection is made you will be placed in "build" mode.
Left-click the tile on the build screen from where you want to start your creation. Click the arrow icons at the bottom of the screen to select whether the section of track you want to build will be straight or curved and how severe the curves should be. The section of track will display in blue on the screen so you can see how it will look. If you are happy with the design, double-click the blue section to build it. The next section will automatically appear in blue allowing you to change it.
Click the icons underneath the ones you used to set the curvature of your coaster in order to set the slope and elevation. Hover your mouse cursor over the icons to see a description of what they do.
Complete the whole rollercoaster track until the start and end points meet up. This automatically brings up the ride entrance selection screen. Click on the type of entrance you want for your ride. A small example of how it looks is shown to the left of the available options.
Select the type of exit you want for the ride. To make it look professional, pick the same exit theme as your entrance. Once this is done, your track will be completed. Click the "Construction" icon on the bottom right of the screen, then click on your rollercoaster if you want to make any changes after this point.
Click the "Vehicles" icon on the bottom right of the screen to set the amount of carriages for your rollercoaster. Click on the "Paint Bucket" icon on the screen that is shown to change the color of your rollercoaster.
Click the "Operating Mode" icon on the bottom right of the screen to set adjustments, like the amount of laps the rollercoaster will perform and the minimum waiting time for new customers to board. Click the "Finances" icon to set the admission price for the ride. Click the "Details" button on the bottom right of the screen, then click the purple movie camera icon to enter the "Coaster Cam" view.
