How to Get Bombchus in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

In "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time," a variety of items are available to aid you in battle. The Bombchu is one such item. A Bombchu is similar to a regular bomb. The difference is that a Bombchu continuously moves until it either runs into an object, such as a wall, or its time runs out. Bombchus blow up objects and reveal hidden paths. Two shops sell the item. Young Link, in the past, may buy them from the Bombchu shop, while Adult Link, in the future, may buy them from the Magic Carpet shop.

Instructions

The Past

  Visit Hyrule town, located at the top-center of the Hyrule field map.

  Wait for nightfall. You can only purchase Bombchus after dark.

  Walk to the back ally of the market and enter the Bombchu shop.

  Speak to the shop owner to purchase the Bombchus. Bombchus are sold in bundles of 10 for 100 rupees or 20 for 180 rupees.
The Future

  Visit the Gerudo Fortress. The Gerudo Fortess is accessed past the Gerudo Valley, which is located on the west of the Hyrule field map.

  Enter the Haunted Wasteland from the Gerudo Fortress map.

  Follow the flags until you come to the Magic Carpet shop.

  Speak to the shopkeeper to purchase Bombchus. Bombchus are sold for 200 rupees in this shop.
