Instructions
Walk to the door on the right-hand side of your shop. Press "Z" to exit the shop and see a map of the town.
Move the cursor over "Merchant's Guild" and press "Z" to enter it. Select the "Buy" option and purchase some stock for your shop.
Exit the guild and highlight "Recettear" at the bottom of the screen. Press "Z" to return to the shop. Follow the tutorials that you receive from your partner, Tear, in order to learn the basics of displaying and selling items.
Exit the shop and select the "Adventure's Guild" on the map. Watch the cutscene that automatically plays; you'll meet an adventurer named Louie. Select "Swordsman Louie" under the "Adventurer Selection," and select "Depart" to leave for your first dungeon.
Fight your way through the dungeon until you reach the fifth floor, where you will find a treasure chest and thus complete the dungeon. Hit the red door that appears to open it, and return to town.
Sell items in the shop or explore the town until it's nighttime, at which point your character will go to sleep. Return to the Adventurer's Guild the next day and select "Swordsman Louie" again. Select "Depart"; this time, you will see a map with locations marked on it. Select "Jade Way" and play until you reach the fifteenth floor of the dungeon, where you will encounter the boss character, Charme.
Dodge Charme's lunging attacks and then counterattack her from behind. Continue doing so until you defeat her.
Return to the town after you have completed the dungeon, and work in the shop. Charme will make a random appearance. She will present you with her card, which allows you to hire her for dungeon expeditions.
Exit the shop during the morning or afternoon, and go to the town square. You will see a cutscene of a girl who is searching for her sister. Return to your shop and wait for Charme to visit and tell you about the Amber Garden. You'll find that it is now unlocked and you can now explore it.
