Expansion Pack
In ̶0;The Sims 2̶1; computer game, the use of an expansion pack adds game features and items that were not included in the original game. Features include new neighborhoods, age groups and career choices. Items added tend to range from household furnishings to clothes. The ̶0;University̶1; expansion pack introduced many of these items, but allowed Sims to expand and grow beyond the household.
University
In ̶0;The Sims 2,̶1; when a Sim child grows up and graduates from college, he is expected to enter the workforce. With the addition of the ̶0;University̶1; expansion pack, Sim teenagers now have a choice of whether to join the working world or enter college. If a Sim opted for college, he could choose from among three universities. A taxi shows up for the Sim after he makes his decision and he is whisked off to college.
College Life
While in college, young Sims are expected to perform many of the same tasks as real-life college students. Sims join fraternities and sororities, attend classes and take exams. In the expansion pack, the more the Sim applies herself, the more likely she is to be successful in her college career. A Sim can even meet and become engaged to another Sim that catches her eye. The relationship work that a Sim puts in during college can affect her life after college.
Additional Perks
