How to PvP with Aion Ranger

Choose a talent build for your character. This will depend heavily on your preferred style of combat, as well as what other classes you have in your group. A Ranger who has an Offense build will be able to deal more damage, but is more susceptible to being damaged themselves. Defense builds are not useful for Rangers in PVP, as your main purpose is to deal damage. A Hybrid build finds a balance between Offense and Defense.

Use Hide to sneak up on your enemies if you are PvPing on your own. Since Rangers are not a very tough class, you'll want to hit them hard and quick. Successfully using Hide will enable you to use the Surprise Attack ability, which deals extra damage.

Use ranged attacks if you are PvPing in a group. Since your Ranger will be low on Defense and not able to wear heavy armor, you can get taken down quickly if you find yourself surrounded. Stick to the outside. Let your tougher friends keep your enemies occupied while you fire arrows at them beyond their reach.

Use traps to slow down your enemies if you need to run away. All PvP players sometimes find themselves needing to retreat. By ensnaring your enemies, you can buy yourself the time you need to get to safety.
