How to Get Ancients on SlashScape

"RuneScape" is a browser-based massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) released in 2001. It is free-to-play, with a plethora of standard options such as questing, crafting and trading. Because of its PC-centric development, it is readily moddable and many players maintain private dedicated servers for "RuneScape" as well as heavily modded versions of the game, such as "SlashScape," which is a player versus player (PVP) version of "RuneScape" for high-level characters.

Instructions

  Navigate to a "SlashScape" private server site, register for the site/forum, then log into the "SlashScape" server with this username and password. You'll be given an option to create a new character or continue as a previous character. Select one to begin playing.

  Exit the spawn point (your house) and head toward the bank in town. To the right of the bank is the Altar. Click on the lectern and select "Ancients Spellbook."

  Open your inventory and click the Ancients spellbook to open it and learn the spells within. Because the Ancients spells are the most powerful in the game, some "SlashScape" servers actually disable the use of Ancients spells for player versus player combat.
