How to Make a Rivera Tribble

Tribbles are fictional, gentle animals that exist in the "Star Trek Online" universe. They are soft, fuzzy creatures that possess a congenial demeanor and purr much like cats. Tribbles are also known for the ability to asexually reproduce themselves in large quantities. In the game, players can breed tribbles to make new varieties, including rare ones. The Rivera Tribble is one of these rare types, but you can't breed it. It came as a pre-order item, but can now be purchased through Cryptic, the company that makes "Star Trek Online."

Instructions

  Create a character in "Star Trek Online." Make sure the character is not a klingon, as they cannot own tribbles and therefore would not benefit from the Rivera Tribble.

  Go to Cryptic's website. Log in using your account information from the game.

  Click on the "Cryptic Point Bundles." This is a tiered system of purchasing; you can choose how much money you want to spend on points. The Rivera Tribble is 120 cryptic points, and the smallest purchase option is 500 points for $6.50. Choose this option.

  Return to the main section of Cryptic's website and select the "Store" link. Search for Rivera Tribble and purchase it with 120 cryptic points. The tribble will now be assigned to your character in "Star Trek Online." Log into the game and the Rivera Tribble will be in your character's inventory.
