How to Scroll in MapleStory

In the online, role-playing game "MapleStory," scrolling is the act of applying a scroll to piece of equipment or weapons. These scrolls, named so because they appear like parchments, can increase the stats of your items. For example, some scrolls increase magic or physical attack on weapons while others can increase your defense or allow your character to jump higher. There are hundreds of scrolls for different pieces of equipment and with various success rates. A scroll with a low success rate is unlikely to improve your item and may even destroy it.

     Log in to your "MapleStory" character that has the item and scroll that you wish to use.

     Open the "Equipment" window by pressing "E" or by clicking the icon from the bottom of the screen.

     Open the "Item" screen by pressing "I" or clicking the button on the bottom of your game screen.

     Click and drag the scroll from the "Item" screen to the corresponding item on your "Equipment" window. Whether the scrolls work or not, you will see an animation and a confirmation in your chat/update bar.
