Instructions
Open the ̶0;Warcraft III̶1; World Editor by clicking ̶0;Start,̶1; clicking ̶0;All Programs,̶1; clicking the ̶0;Warcraft III̶1; folder and clicking the ̶0;Warcraft III World Editor̶1; shortcut.
Click ̶0;Agree̶1; to agree to the license agreement and click ̶0;OK̶1; to continue.
Click the ̶0;File̶1; menu in the World Editor window and select ̶0;Open Map.̶1;
Double-click a map file on your computer to load it into the editor. The dialog window opens to the folder containing the multiplayer maps that come with ̶0;Warcraft III.̶1;
Edit the map̵7;s terrain by clicking the ̶0;Terrain Editor̶1; icon on the toolbar and using the terrain tool pallete that appears. Scroll around the map by clicking and dragging on the minimap at the top left corner of the World Editor window.
Click the ̶0;Layer̶1; menu and select ̶0;Units̶1; to place units on the map. Select a unit from the menu on the Unit palette and click on the map to place the unit on the map.
Customize the map̵7;s triggers, sounds or objects by clicking ̶0;Trigger Editor,̶1; ̶0;Soudn Editor̶1; or ̶0;Object Editor̶1; icons to the right of the Terrain Editor icon on the toolbar. Each icon opens a window with the relevant settings.
Save your customized map by clicking the ̶0;File̶1; menu, clicking ̶0;Save Map As̶1; and providing a name for your new map.
