How to Make a Wizard

Creating a Wizard Using The Downloadable Client

  Double-click the "Wizard101" icon to launch the game. Press any key on the keyboard or mouse to begin the game once the main menu appears. The game automatically begins the character creation process as Headmaster Ambrose begins speaking to you.

  Click "Next," located at the bottom of the screen, to advance the text of the characters who are speaking to you until you reach the testing screen.

  Answer the questions on the right side of the screen to determine what type of powers your wizard can use. However, if you already know what type of powers you want to use, click "Skip The Test" on the bottom left corner of the screen and select your powers from the list provided.

  Select your gender on the right side of the screen. Click "Next."

  Select your hairstyle, color, face and skin color using the arrows on the right side of the screen. For example, to change your skin color, click the arrows to the right and left of the "Skin" box on the right side of the screen. Click "Random" to have the game randomly assign features to you. Click "Next" when finished.

  Select your hat, robe and shoes using the arrows on the right side of the screen. Click "Next" when finished.

  Select a name from each of the three columns in the center of the screen. Click "Done" when finished to create your wizard.

Creating a Wizard Through the Website

  Navigate to the "Wizard101" website. Click "Play" on the left side of the screen.

  Watch the video that plays. Once the video is over, the system will take you to the wizard creation screen. Alternatively, click "Skip" to skip the video.

  Select your gender from the two choices provided. Click "Next."

  Select a name from each of the three columns in the center of the screen. Click "Next."

  Answer the six multiple-choice questions to determine your wizard's magic school. If you are unhappy with the computer-selected choice at the end of the quiz, click the "Choose a Different School" button that appears at the end of the quiz and select a new school from the list provided.

  Fill in the registration fields, such as your age, user name and password. Click "Done" when finished. The system will take you to Wizard City.

  Select your wizard's facial features and clothes from the options provided on the right side of the screen. Click "Done" to finish creating your wizard.
