How to Get Rumble Pad to Work With COD4

"Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" is a first-person war-themed shooter game released for multiple platforms in late 2007. By default, the computer version of this game relies on the keyboard and a mouse to control your in-game character. However, if you have a rumble pad, which is a computer game controller with a vibration function, you can use that in place of the regular controls. The device will work automatically, though you may need to enable the vibration feature manually.

     Attach your rumble pad to the computer via its USB cable.

     Load "Modern Warfare" to the main menu.

     Select "Options" on the main menu.

     Select "Controller." The "Keyboard/Mouse" option should be greyed out.

     Click the check box beside "Vibration" if it is not already checked. Click "Apply" to save your settings.
