How to Get Action Replay to Work on a Visual GBA

The Game Boy Advance is a handheld video game console, and "Visual GBA" is computer software that emulates it. By using "Visual GBA," gamers can play Game Boy Advance titles on their PC. "Visual GBA" has several advantages over a real Game Boy Advance, including improved graphics, sound and save functionality. Players can also input Action Replay and GamedShark cheats to unlock items, give themselves infinite hit points and otherwise access features they were never supposed to have.

Instructions

    • 1

Start "Visual GBA" and click "File" and then "Open." Select the game you want to play.

    • 2

Push the "Cheats" tab at the top of the screen and then select "Cheat List."

    • 3

Push "GameShark" to bring up a blank window. You can insert cheats here for GameShark, Action Replay and Code Breakers.

    • 4

Insert your Action Replay codes and then click "Okay." They're now in effect.
