How to View StarCraft 2 Campaign Maps

Maps in the ̶0;StarCraft 2̶1; single-player campaign are hidden by default. Sections of the map are only visible when you have a nearby unit in the area. The grayed-out area that prevents you from seeing other areas of the map is known as the ̶0;fog of war.̶1; You can view an entire campaign map by using a cheat code that removes the fog of war and exposes everything on the map or by opening the campaign map in the map editor included with ̶0;StarCraft 2.̶1;

Instructions

  1. Cheat Code

      Start the ̶0;StarCraft 2̶1; campaign mission you want to view the map of.

      Press ̶0;Enter̶1; while playing on the map to access the console.

      Type ̶0;TookTheRedPill̶1; and press ̶0;Enter.̶1; The entire campaign map becomes visible.

    Map Editor

      Browse to the ̶0;C:\Program Files (x86\StarCraft II̶1; directory on your computer, and double-click the ̶0;StarCraft II Editor.exe̶1; file to start the ̶0;StarCraft 2̶1; map editor. Browse to the directory you installed ̶0;StarCraft 2̶1; to if you installed it to a different directory.

      Click the ̶0;File̶1; menu at the top of the ̶0;StarCraft 2̶1; editor window, and select ̶0;Open.̶1;

      Click the ̶0;Campaign̶1; tab at the top of the Open Document window that appears.

      Select the campaign map you want to view by clicking its file name in the list on the campaign tab. The editor displays the selected map̵7;s mission name and mini-map at the right side of the window after you click a map.

      Click ̶0;OK̶1; to open the map and view it in the editor.
