Instructions
Download and install the GP4Builder, available at "GP4" sites such as RealGPx.
Load GP4Builder. Open your "Grand Prix 4" installation directory, which should be on your main hard drive in the folder "Program Files." Open the "Circuits" folder and select one of the course .bat files to edit.
Right-click the .bat file of the course you are going to replace and open the file with GP4Builder.
Click "Delete" to remove the track sections of the original course (except for the first three, which cannot be deleted).
Click "Add" and select "Multiple Sectors" to begin adding new track sections. Each section is about 16 feet long, and you can change the quantity of sections to make at once.
Develop your track sectors and lead it towards a water front or back towards another section of track to create a crossover bridge.
Add a new section of track that has the same start height but a slightly raised end height, changing the value in the field provided.
Create another track section with the same start height as the end height of the section in step 7 and increase the end height a little higher.
Create enough sections of track, which the end height of the section in step 8, to form the bridge.
Create track sections that slop down towards the opposite end of the bridge. The first and last sections of the bridge should have the same start and end height.
