How to Unlock Neural Shock in Mass Effect

Neural Shock is a special power that lets you telepathically harm an enemy by shocking them with brain waves in "Mass Effect." This power can be unlocked at any point while you are playing the game. The only requirement to unlock Neural Shock is that you have an unlock point, such as the unlock point you are given at the start of the game or the unlock points you earn by killing enemies and exploring new worlds.

     Press the "F10" key if you are playing the game on a PC or press the "X" button if you are playing it on an Xbox 360 to open the Upgrade menu.

     Select "Tech Upgrades."

     Highlight the "Neural Shock" power.

     Press "Enter" on the PC or press the "A" button on the Xbox 360 to unlock the Neural Shock power.
