How to Set Up the D2NT 3.0 Bot

Downloading and Extracting D2NT 3.0

  Use an Internet browser to find D2NT 3.0 at a source of your choosing, as it is not supported or distributed by an official software developer. Download D2NT 3.0 to your desktop.

  Extract D2NT's .rar file to a new folder on your desktop using an archive extractor of your choosing. Use the default name "D2NT."

  Allow the archive to extract completely. Verify that the archive has extracted correctly and that no files are missing.

Editing Files

  Navigate to "Desktop\D2NT\scripts\NTBot\char_configs." Determine which class you will be using D2NT for. Modify that class's configuration file name to include your character name, such as "NTConfig_Paladin_YourCharacterName."

  Open the newly renamed configuration file in your text editor. Analyze the values, statistics, and variables that you are interested in modifying.

  Modify the variables in your configuration file using the configuration file's recommendations and your own preferences. Modify these variables by selecting text, deleting it, and replacing it with values of your own choosing.

Finishing Up

  Navigate to the original folder that D2NT was extracted into. Run "D2NT Manager." Press the "Add" button when the program loads and name your profile when prompted.

  Select "AutoDetection" and type your account name in the field labeled "Account Name." Type your game name in the field labeled "Room name." Select the appropriate server and select a difficulty of your preference.

  Select the bubble that corresponds with the position of your character in the character selection screen. Click "OK." Click on the profile that you just created. Type in your password when prompted, and click "Run" to finish.
