How to Make a Code_Post.gfx for Call of Duty: World at War

"Call of Duty: World at War" is the fifth entry in the first-person shooter video game series but it marked a new way for codes to input into the game. Previously, codes were input through the game's console or text, but now you have to physically edit the game's files to input or activate any cheat codes. A majority of the game's cheats are already included in a file, code_post.gfx, but you can create your own version of the file that only has the cheats you want available on it.

Instructions

    • 1

Open "Notepad" or another basic text editing program. Programs that automatically configure line spacing and word wrap, such as "Microsoft Word," will not work.

    • 2

Type any codes and cheats you want to be contained within the file. If you do not know the cheats by heart, you can open the "code_post.gfx" file already on your computer to copy and paste your favorites.

    • 3

Click "Save" from the "File" menu on the top toolbar. A Windows Explorer window will appear.

    • 4

Click the "Save as File Type:" drop-down box and click "All Files."

    • 5

Type "Code_Post.gfx" as the name of the file and save the file in your "World at War" directory. If you haven't already moved the file, you will have to replace your current "code_post.gfx" file.

Click "Save" to create the file. You may upload it to a site for others or place it in your "World at War" directory.
