How Do I Auto Cast?

Auto casting is a means of casting combat spells in computer games. It is helpful for controlling special abilities of units or pets in games such as "Warcraft III," Starcraft 2" and "World of Warcraft." Turning on the auto-cast feature will make a unit cast the spell automatically, allowing you to perform other actions in the middle of combat. Spells that have an auto-cast feature are indicated by a small icon in the spell frame. The spell icon will have a glowing aura around it when auto cast is activated.

     Load the chosen game and begin playing.

     Select the unit or pet that has a special ability. Note that not all abilities have an auto-cast feature.

     Right-click the icon for a spell or ability that has an auto-cast feature. The spell box will begin to emit light.

   • 4

     Enter combat, and the unit or pet will automatically cast the spell whenever possible. Right-click the spell icon again to turn off auto casting.
