Head Shot
Though it's possible to get occasional head shots just by luck, one of the best ways to kill a "Call of Duty" opponent is with a head shot after you've stalked him. Unlike body shots, a head shot will typically kill the opponent instantly. Best of all, your shooting prowess will be recognized on the game's kill notification section with a head shot graphic next to it.
Melee Attack
Falling victim to a melee attack is one of the most degrading ways to die in "Call of Duty," which makes it satisfying for the perpetrator. Though often difficult to execute, the melee attack is most effective when you have been able to sneak behind your opponent without him seeing you. Instead of shooting him, press the "Melee" button to slice him with your knife or hit him with the butt of your gun, depending on the game.
Grenade Launcher
In "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" and "Call of Duty: Black Ops," you have the option of equipping your assault rifle with a grenade launcher. Though this accessory is banned on certain servers, it's extremely satisfying to kill your opponent not with a grenade explosion, but by a direct hit with a launched grenade. Instead of firing a grenade into a crowd of opponents, target one individual and shoot him in the torso with the grenade.
Through Perks
In the different "Call of Duty" games, you are rewarded for your in-game kill streaks with certain perks, such as calling in an airstrike, a helicopter or an attack dog. This method of killing your opponents is ideal because you've already amassed a significant kill streak, and these perks typically help you extend your streak. You can find a safe place to hide and wait while your helicopter, for example, circles the battlefield and kills opponents.
