How to Install the Bus for PTTM

Also abbreviated as "PTTM," "18 Wheels Of Steel: Pedal To The Metal" is a simulation-style game developed by SCS Software and published in the United States by Valusoft. In this series, players drive a fleet of several dozen different types of intricately modeled trucks. As with many simulation-style series, you can add different types of user-created content to the game. The Greyhound Bus is one of the more popular mods for PTTM.

Instructions

  Download and extract the zipped file for the Greyhound bus. Extract the file to the game installation directory, which should be "C:\Documents and Settings\(user name)\My Documents\18 WoS Pedal to the Metal\makes\truck\."

  Begin the game, and either complete the game or use a cheat to unlock all truck dealers. To enter the cheat, press the "~" (tilde) key and type "cheat dealers," press hit "Enter" and close the console by pressing the tilde key again.

  Enter the Truck Dealer screen, then select the vendor that sells the truck, which should be "Greyhound." Purchase the bus; it should now be available in your fleet to drive.
