How to Work a Store in The Sims 2

"The Sims 2" is a life-simulation computer game which has had several expansion packs released for it. One such expansion pack, "Open for Business," allows Sims to open up their own business and operate it like the NPCs do in the base game. Before you can operate a store of your own, you must use your phone and call to open up a business. Your Sim can do this at any time.

Instructions

      Click any phone in your house. Make sure your desired Sim is the active Sim.

      Select "Business" on the radial menu that appears. This opens a new radial menu.

      Select "Start Home Business."

    • 4

      Purchase items for your business. For example, you will need an open/closed sign for your door along with items you want to sell. Purchase any items normally available for sale and sell them to customers who will visit your store naturally.
