How to Add Clan Tags Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare on a PC

Clan tags in "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" associate your character with a group of people who play together. In the console versions of "Modern Warfare" players can add clan tags under the "Barracks" menu option, but on the PC version, players must use the Multiplayer options menu, which allows them to change their name completely if they want. The name option can be modified without losing any of the character's level progression.

     Open "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" multiplayer by launching the Multiplayer Client or clicking "Multiplayer" in the main menu.

     Click "Options."

     Click "Multiplayer" options.

     Select "Player name" and enter the tag you want before your character's name. Click "Back" when finished to save changes to your name.
