How to Make a Boat in Infdev (Infinite Development)

"Minecraft" is an independent three-dimensional computer game which first debuted in May 2009. The developers of the game frequently release updates to the game, adding hundreds of new items since the first version. In the Alpha version, craftable boats were added to the game, which require wood to make. If your copy of "Minecraft" is still in Infdev mode, you must update the game to get the boat update.

Instructions

  Double-click your "Minecraft" desktop icon while connected to the Internet. The game will automatically update to the current version, which is Beta 1.7.3, as of August, 2011.

  Select "Single Player," followed by your world. Wait for it to fully load.

  Chop down trees and take the wooden logs that fall from it.

  Right-click any crafting table and place the wooden logs in any one square. This yields four wooden planks.
- 5
  Fill the bottom row with wooden planks. Fill the first and last square in the center row to craft the boat.
