How to Make a Nickname for StarCraft II

"StarCraft 2: Wings of Liberty" comes with a single-player campaign filled with more than 20 missions. Solo mode, however, is not the game's main draw. The multiplayer mode serves as the game's biggest selling point, pitting you against hundreds of thousands of other gamers across the globe. Before hopping into a "StarCraft 2" match online, you must first create a Battle.net account and create your nickname.

  Visit us.battle.net/account/creation/tos.html, fill in the required fields and click "Create Free Account."

  View the email inbox you tied to your Battle.net account and open the account activation email.

  Click the verification link in the email. An "E-Mail Address Verified" message appears.

  Run "StarCraft 2: Wings of Liberty."

  Enter your email address into the "Battle.net Account Name" field and click "Connect." A "Password" field appears.

  Enter your password and click "Login."

  Review the "Terms of Service" and click "Accept."

  Review the "StarCraft 2 Agreement" and click "Accept." A "Create Character" message appears.
