How to Install Game Saves From GameFAQs

In 1995, the GameSpot Network created GameFAQs, a website which strove to provide its users with game codes and walkthroughs at no cost. Download and install any computer game saves a user has uploaded onto the website. Installing a downloaded game save follows the same process all the time, but where you place it depends on where the game places its saved game folder.

  Go to the GameFAQs website and search for your desired game.

  Click "Save" to view a list of saved games, if any.

  Click the saved game you wish to download. Confirm your download folder and wait for the process to finish.

  Open the folder where you downloaded the save. Open your game's save folder in a separate window. This exact location will vary, but it is usually within the game's installation folder or in the Documents folder.

  Drag the downloaded game save into your game's saved game folder. This automatically installs it into the game, and you can load it the next time you play.
