How to Mod Fable: TLC

"Fable: The Lost Chapters" is a role-playing game for the PC that allows players to create mods that add quests, weapons, and other different aesthetic elements to the game. If you have already completed the game or just want to take part in a different journey than the default one laid out by the game's developer, you can download and install a user-created mod. Although, the mods that add quests typically only take a few minutes to complete.

Instructions

  Download the program "Fable Explorer." This program is the only way to run mods within the game and is free-to-download.

  Open "Fable Explorer" by double-clicking its desktop icon or clicking it from the start menu.

  Click "File" from the top toolbar and "Load Fable Mod Package" from the list that expands underneath it.

  Double-click the mod file you want to use. Typically, the mod's file extension is ".fmp." The mod will then be loaded into the program.

  Click "Action" from the top toolbar and "Save Mods and Run Fable" from the list that expands underneath it. "Fable" will then load.

  Exit the game immediately without loading or starting a new game.

  Start "Fable" again. The mod will then be loaded, allowing you to load or start a new game.
