When you use the in-game save feature in Fallout 3: New Vegas, a save file is created locally on your computer. That way, when you want to reload a previously saved game, the game can look in the default save folder and load your information. If you want to delete the saved games from your computer, you can do so through the Windows Explorer interface. This process will make it so that you cannot use the saved games again.

Right-click the "Start" button.

Click "Open Windows Explorer."

Go to the "My Documents" folder, then open "My Games/FalloutNV/Saves."

Highlight the saves you wish to delete, then press the "Delete" key and click "Yes" to confirm deletion.
