How to Beat Mass Effect 2 With No One Dying

The "Mass Effect 2" game is designed in such a way that your actions throughout the game have a direct impact on whether your allies survive the final mission or not. To make sure nobody dies, fully upgrade your ship and ensure that your team members are loyal and assigned to suitable tasks.

Instructions

    • 1

Purchase all upgrades for your ship. Each upgrade you do not purchase will cause one of your team members to die.

    • 2

Complete the loyalty mission for each of your team members. Any team member who is not loyal has a chance of dying during the final mission, even if you do everything else correctly.

    • 3

Send either Tali or Legion through the vents to open the door. If you send anybody else, that team member will die.

    • 4

Choose Samara, Morinth or Jack to create and sustain the biotic shield. If you choose anybody else, the shield will fail and one of your team members will die.

    • 5

Designate Garrus, Miranda or Jacob as the leader of the diversion team. If you choose anybody else, that team member will die.

    • 6

Designate somebody to accompany the crew back to the ship. While it doesn't matter who you select, a team member with weak defenses, such as Mordin, Tali or Jack, is the best choice.

    • 7

Leave team members with high defenses behind and choose team members with weak defenses, such as Mordin, Tali or Jack, to accompany you in the final battle. Once you have chosen your team members for the final battle, the game will calculate the total defense skill of the team members you left behind; if this total is too low, some or all of them may die.
